Garrett passed peacefully last night after battling MS for over 20 years. He was passionate about the Porsche, especially 914s and 356s. It's been my honor to get to know him this last few years. Many PNW teeners will fondly remember the picturesque gatherings we had on his amazing lawn.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Garrett's wonderful wife Patricia. A gathering will be scheduled some time in the future to commemorate this remarkable man.

Knew I'd never have the chance to meet Garrett, but I did some reading after the recent updates about his condition. He sounds like a great guy, and I wish him safe travels in his voyage, as well as sympathies to his family.

R.I.P. Garret. Such a great teener owner! Only got to see him 3 times over the years. Great guy to talk to & had a true love for our cars. My prayers go out to his family. May his 914 live on with them for many years
