Can anyone tell me the metric size for a 33"X 9.5" tire. Aric wants bigger tires for his new Jeep. 15"s are hard to get these days.

TIA,
propricer

Ya that's why I was asking about a metric conversion. I was shopping the Rack and there is only one tire that size. I thought if I could search with a metric size I would have better luck. I'm a dunce when it comes to converting " to mm.

Anyone?

i think you might have to pick up an issue of 4 Wheeling or another off-road magazine, they might have some ads with better selections

Have you looked through 4wheelparts.com yet?

What size wheel does the Jeep have?

Trying to cheap out and keep the stock 15" wheels. 1990 cherokee 2dr 4wd.

Ok, so I guess it's 9.5" wide (wheel or tire?) and a 33" tyre diameter

9.5"x 2.54 = 24.1cm

so your looking at a 245 (or close tire) width

33"- 15" = 18" / 2 = 9" tire wall

9" x 25.4 = 229mm

229 / 245 x 100% = 93.5 side wall

so you're looking at approx. a 245/90/15 or 245/95/15 tire

dunno if that tire size makes any sense, but that's how you'd calculate it...
