If you use Eastwoods Etching Spray do you still need to use a self etching primer? It would be used on a frame. Probably a dumb question but you don't learn if you don't ask.. Besides, there are no dumb questions, just dumb people.. smile.gif Thanks

I'm not familiar with Eastwood's spray. I've used their internal frame coating spray. Actually I used it on a 914 rear lid between the inner structure and outer skin.

My suggestion would be to contact them and ask. They have a on-line chat function that worked well for me when I asked them about dry time for the stuff I used.

Thank you Rick.. Apparently they don't recommend using etching primer if you used any other form of etching.. Good to know! sunglasses.gif
