hello all Members in the Costa Mesa/LA area !

i need some rather unusual help in Costa Mesa ...

here's the story:

in the early '70s the german photographer Jutta Fausel took many pictures of Porsches at racing events, including a lot of 914/6 and GT pictures.
She currently lives in Costa Mesa, CA and i would like to find out if she still has some (any?) of the pics she took at those events.
i think it would be beneficial if someone local could contact her (as a 914club representative) and establish a personal contact.

Well, I still have not got a return call. Should I call again? I dont want to bug the lady. If she was taking pictures back in the 70's she may be up in her years now and retired. I can also go by there, The address is just off the corner of 24th and Orange on the other side of Newport Blvd. In fact, that is right over by Steve Strombergs house.

I am heading down to San Diego tomorrow for a job and should be back around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, I can buzz by there then.

If you have her phone# why don't you call her yourself?

Cantact has been made!!! What a nice lady. Very strong accent. Andy, you need to call her. I am sure she would prefer to speak in German. If you do not contact her today by phone you will not be able to until the 9th. She is leaving for Germany tomorrow for some magazine over there. She gave me her email address but I dont want to post it here. I can send it to you in a PM if you like. Give her a call, she would like to hear from you. She needs more information about what you want. She said she has all the pictures and slides she ever took unless they were owned and compyrighted by a magazine
