Scotty looks a lot like Dave's first wife in that pic. She always wore her hair in a bun too.

She was a bit bigger than Scott though.

Those kids are exactly why you need to be back. You're teaching them to be involved with something and respect something, anything. Why not a 914?
As a farm kid, to me it was animals and a dirt bike. I was kept busy. When they are teenagers, they will understand the hard work it takes to have something, er.... NICE and to respect it and work for it.

It's either that or you buy them some chickens.

Kids who have things to do don't get into trouble.... So get another 914 and make the next one theirs.

You've been around them too long to say you are done. I'd say probably just "taking a break" you keep finding these things, i am sure you will run into another one along the way, sooner than later. but you know where we are if you want to come down and take one for a drive!
BTW that blue"parts car" very clean, bill will have it spiffed up in no time.
