What kind of problems may I encounter when replacing my 55amp alt with 75 amp alt? Would I need to replace my voltage regulator? I also want to change my fuse box from Bay Area Motor Trends. Putting in a better sound system and worried about power draw. My engine is curently out so might want to take advantage before putting in back in.

the regulator only handles VOLTAGE - not current - it does not care what your output current is

but you'd be advised to use a new style electronic regulator just for modernization

fwiw - i put in the JSWest fuse panel last year - it's a nice improvement\
