I might agree with PanelBilly on this one.
But everyone needs options: 1) finish the drink outside the car. 2) Drive to location to get the drink. 3) If drink needed; make passenger hold the drink. 4) Take car other than Porsche. (mini van's traditionally have plenty of holders)

While I wouldn't put anything from a Honda in my car There is nothing wrong with, and I do have, a cup holder in my car. I spend a lot of time in my car and get thirsty on the road. What I really hate is my drink spilling on my console.
Its not a real Porsche anyway remember?
