"slightly used pair of Porsche 914 rear springs.....excellent condition. KYB struts and Weltmeister springs. A deal at $110.00 a pair."

My rear shocks are leaking and the back of the car seems to be sagging a bit so was thinking this would take care of it all. My car is a 72 914-4 used for street drving only. I have no idea what spring/shock setup I should be looking for.

Thanks for any advise/lessons learned,

Mike

call Eric at PMB. Bilstein's are the way to go. I removed a set of those KYB's and replaced with Bilstein's. biggrin.gif If you want the KYB's I'll sell you mine for $50 + shp

KYBs are too firm for 100 pound springs. the ride will be harsh
those 100 pound springs would be a nice upgrade on a street car if used with green bilsteins (not sport) or adjustable konis set to full soft

Thanks for the input. I'm not real serious but happen to be in San Diego and saw the add on CL.
