What size lines (AN) is everyone using for their external oil cooler and or filter?

Thanks

4 or 6?

A 4 can work on an10
A 6 requires a minimum of an12

Better to use 12 on a 4. Plus that size can accommodate the upgrade later. Big 6s at times use an16 on returns.

3.2 Carrera engine: 12AN on engine outlet and all lines involved with the external oil cooler; 16AN from tank outlet to engine inlet. Bypass valve uses 12AN.

I think you have to spell out T-Y-P-E F-O-U-R to these guys rolleyes.gif

Unless you are doing a front cooler just use 1/2".
I use Parker Push-Lok hose and fittings , no clamps. Everything else will be 3/8" NPT fittings

If you really want AN fittings then knock yourself out, I have bigger engines running on the Parker hose.

If you're doing a Full flow type one pump and cover you need a modified engine mount.
