the crap has been going on for 3 days, nights actually. boom, boom, boom. 15 minutes later it's the same damn thing until way past midnight.

saw a sad mope on the news who had a 'quick fused' mortar hit him in the face. took off the left side. pretty funny...i hate fire works, esp the ILLEAGAL ones! a big organized professional display is where they belong. not in the backyard. fireworks injuries should be at the lowest priority on an aid call. that would give them time to reconsider their activities. 6:24am and i just heard crackers in the distance. very fortunate for them they're far enough away that i don't know where they are located.

Not sure if I'll be celebrating "freedom" this year or not.

Momma always told me that "if you see somebody runnin on the 4th of July, you'd better be in front of em".
