Hello All,

A good friend of mine has asked me to help him part out and/or sell 8 Porsche 914's he has stored in Charleston, SC. Some of the cars he has had for over 20 years. They are in various sates of decay and we would love for 914 owners to get the parts they need instead of just sending them to the crusher. We also prefer local pick up, and not have to ship too many parts.

I sold the only running engine I had, but have 4 non-running 1.7/1.8's Sorry no 2.0's.

I do have one 1973 1.7 car with a title and keys that we prefer not to part out, and sell as a complete car. Here is the link to the ad: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=215545

Please message, email, or call me (843)607-7268 / cortez0767@gmail.com if you have any questions or want to look at some parts.

Thanks,

Brian

Do you happen to have any good (no rust near the latch) rear trunk lids?
cortez0767
I believe I do. I'll check and take some photos tomorrow after work.

Can you get the VINs and add them to the data base here please?
cortez0767
Definitely. It will take me a few days to get them all.

Hi Steve,

I think I saw a valance. I'll check the condition on Tuesday evening. I do not have any tail lights that are not cracked.

Looking for super clean rear chrome bumper and black rubber cap. Also black seat cushions basket weave pattern with no rips or tears. Center console. Poor condition is okay.

cortez0767
I don't have any super clean chrome bumpers. I do believe I have a set of black basket weave seat cushions. No large center consoles, only the low profile plastic trays that go between the seats.

Hi Brian,

I'm looking for a good rear valence.

Thanks, Joe

looking for early drivers side window 70 or 71, clear minimun scratches
jimkelly
I would say to attack each car individually for a full tear down.

some will want metal which means you'd have to enact a sawzall.

stuff that may sell are.. some will fetch only core prices obviously

wheels
engines/FI components
transaxles
cv joints
sway bars/bolts
calipers
bumpers/dog bones
trim
glass
long lug bolts for mahle/fuchs fetch about $75 a set +-
gauges
switches
harnesses

i'd say put all the screws/nuts/washers/caps/clips/grommets/etc in a box, and save for me ; )

boxing and shipping is PITA.

I don't think I have any 70 or 71. I'll let you know if I find one.

Thank you for the advice. This is a rather daunting task I have agreed to take on. working Saturdays and after work I'm guessing it will take me a few months or more to get through all of them. I will keep everyone posted.
