Side shift tranny uses a small part on the tranny end of the shift rod. One end goes into the shift rod the other accepts a bushing and the ball from the tranny shift lever goes into the bushing.

The conical set screw attaches the part in question to the shift rod. My conical screw has striped the hex for the Allen wrench, then I broke an extractor in that rounded hole. The conical set screw is too tight. chair.gif I don't know if I am going to get it out without damaging this part.

Anyone have one?

Also accepting suggestions on extractor and set screw removal...will edit later with pictures of that mess.
