I'm offering a service to retrofit the backlighting on your gauge cluster. I will sell DIY kits for $200.00, which will include the RGB led strips, controller/remote, and wire needed to install this into your car.
Full service is also available for $300.00. I will do all the labor with installing these LED's, paint the needles and do other cosmetic work which also includes replacing the plastic lenses with glass (if needed). For an extra 100 dollars, I will convert your tachometer to a modern air core servo tach that will work with any 4,6 or 8 cylinder engines.
All the gauges illuminate red when the gas gauge gets too low. There is also a tachometer sensing circuit in the controller, that will change the background color at different RPM's (you tell me what RPM's, I then calibrate the controller to your settings)

This is a great setup. Tim had them on display at our recent 914 BBQ. A great addition to your car.

Got them and they rock! Would highly recommend this to all. Besides the cool factor, it is a real safety improvement. The ability to actually be able to see your gauges is a real and tangible upgrade even if you set it to display factory color.
When I installed mine, I thought I had made a mistake in the fuel gauge wiring. But I thought I had more gas than in the tank. Well on a drive going around a curve, all the dash lights change to red! Yep it was working fine and it kept me from driving because I knew I had more gas. Sweet. Very sweet.

I am loving my kit. Tim is a really good person to work with, and his LED's really do the job well.
I'd recommend it to any car where seeing the gauges at night is desired!

these lights are much nicer than stock, in several ways : )
and he can make your stock tach work with a 4, 6 or 8 cylinder motor.
What about the tach conversion as an stand alone option?

Tach conversion by itself is 150.00. I'll discount 50 dollars if you are having me do the LED lighting mod.

Just sent my center gauges in for the custom lights. Also sent my tach in for the up date. I always hated how the tach bounced.

Just got my guages from Timothy and I am dually impressed. Anyone hesitating should pull the trigger. The quality of the guage restoration is concours and I would not hesitate to put them in any car.
Tim is a good communicator and doing business with him is a pleasure. I will have these installed on my car in time for Hershey this year so if you want to see them first hand look me up, or send me a PM.

I will have to agree with John. Just got my center gauges back. The pictures don't do them justice but getting the full restore is more than worth it. These look brand new!
Tim is a great guy to work with and the results of his work amazing.

I did mine a few months ago, they look decent but nothing like Tim's. I decided to pull the trigger and sent them out to him yesterday.
I am so anxious.
Tim is a great guy and asset to the world. His patience is out of this world. Hes not in it for the money, just puts a smile on his face being able to help a world member.
Thumbs up for Tim.

Turn around time is typically 2-3 days.
These are FourBlade's gauges that I just restored. Finding the polished aluminum bezels took way longer than 2-3 days, but well worth the wait. These will look good at night.

I sent Tim the rusty and nasty old tach and speedo that came with my car originally.
He made them look brand new again.
Better than new with the chrome bezels!
Can't wait to get them installed.
He cheerfully took care of all my special requests.

Is there anyway to change the RPM range on the face to 10,000 ? I am doing a sbc 283 build with a red line of around 9-9500 and would love to keep the stock gauges.

I can't believe I hadn't posted about my experience here yet!
Tim worked closely with me to develop a gauge set that would work with my Subaru conversion.
Not only was I able to keep the clean stock look of the dash, but it ended up being significantly less expensive than buying new aftermarket gauges!
Now I also have very brightly lit gauges that transition to from white to bright red as I pass into the powder band. It makes driving at night even more enjoyable!
Saw a set of your gauges auctioned off at WCR; they looked awesome. Thank you for being one of the WRC sponsors.

Hello Tim! AWESOME Gauge Lighting! I would love for you to do this to mine! Question, can you also correspond my aftermarket (vdo's) head temp, oil pressure, and voltage gauges to change with the main gauges, that would be too cool! Also, is there any way to make the spedo brighter? That's my main problem (tickets) never have problems knowing when to shift. just knowing when to let up off the skinny pedal on the right! Although, do have tendencies to blow up these engines, can you red adjust the head temp gauge? I've already gone thru these gauges & replaced lenses to glass and everything else I could think of. Just tell me where to send them, how much it will be and what type of payment your preference is. Thank's Bonnie

Tim, got to see your work in person at Okteenerfest. The gauges you donated as a raffle prize were absolutely gorgeous, and I'm not the only one that was drooling over them. Absolute works of art!
If I didn't need brakes more than gauges at the moment I would be sending my gauges to you instead of ordering calipers from PMB (since I didn't win THAT raffle, either)... but your gauges are next on my list!
Thanks for the generous donation!

This set that Timmothy made was waiting for me when I got home from Octeenerfest. I opened the box at the shop and the guys assumed I had spent $1,500 at North Hollywood.

Super nice. A couple people drove my car this weekend and said the brakes should be better even for straight stock; I had no frame of reference as this is my first and only (so far) 914.
There were 4 of us at okteenerfest so I put 24 tickets in the PMB bucket and 24 in for Tim’s gauges. I managed to not win either, maintaining my perfect lifetime record of ZERO raffle wins.
Eric will get my money soon, at least for fronts. Then Tim’s gauges.

Have Eric load the calipers with his porterfield pads. And buy new rubber soft lines.
We are very lucky that there are terrific vendors that can help us make our car run and look like new, for very reasonable prices. I also put in tickets for the 914rubber dash pad, didn’t win, but for less than the cost of a reupholstered dash, Mark sells a new one.
