Hi All,
I bought a repair manual online the other day and found this article tucked away - I scanned it (unfortunately 3 separate files) but thought it might be enjoyed.

Damn, sounds like he had lemon from the get go. Broke down four blocks from the dealer when new. And it was all downhill from there!
After all the crap he had he still like it. I guess it gets in your blood.

Love to see those prices for repairs again.
The story really shows that it was like to own a sports car in the '70's. You learned to work on them yourself.

Yeah, great read, thanks! I did not know about this article and am kind of surprised that it was not included in the "Porsche 914: Gold Portfolio" collection that has so many others from this period.
