I am wondering if there is a product available at the auto parts store that is comparable to the comp cam lube that comes with Raby's cam kit?
Napa didn't have or know of anything like the comp cam lube.
I used the lube when I first put the engine together but since I had to tear it back apart I wanted to put more of the break in lube on the lifters.
I have some of the thick red sticky assembly lube but didn't know if that was the same thing or not.

I wouldn't worry about it, the cam is already broke in. Use blue STP on the lobes, but not on the bores and bearings.

Engine hasn't run yet, had to tear it apart to find source of no end play.
Just want to make sure I have enough of the lube on the lifters and cam after it had been filled with break in oil and then drained.
