What is the difference between 110 and 108 stub axles and transmission stubs? Educate me guys. One us us has some parts for me but says they are 110mm 4 bolts 2 pins.

I think that 108mm 911 cvs have six 8mm bolts and the 110 mm 911 cvs have four 10mm bolts + pins.
The associated stub axles and trans output flanges can't be mix matched.

Ok, so if I have 110 stubs and out put shafts theoretically everything could be converted over right? What about hubs and bearings do they stay the same then.

You would use the 911 early 69-73 5 lug hub or the later 74-89 hub eccentric type with a spacer (I believe it's 5 mm). Either way the 914 wheel bearing stays the same.
I just checked the stubs and flanges for you Chad.
A late (911 carrera) inner 108 mm cv joint bolts right up (w/o the cap) to the flanges/stubs that we have been talking about. I'm not sure if the earlier 108 mm will fit. I do not have one to check this but I would think as long as it's the 10 mm mounting bolt type it should work. The over all height of the 110 mm trans flange vs the 914 is 5 mm taller. Otherwise other measurements are the same. If you do a search on the Pelican site I believe that the 110 mm stubs & flanges are from a early 911 turbo.

I used to have 94mm

My 108mm 930 CV's use 10mm bolts. My 108mm 911 CV's use 10mm bolts. My 100mm 944 CV's use 8mm bolts.

I just checked a few threads on the bird board. Looks like the 110 mm flange is used with a 108 mm cv joint. It could be that the flanges and stub axles run a few mm's larger then the cv joints it self which is causing all of the confusion. So based on that I have 108 mm stubs and trans flanges then.

No such thing as a "110mm flange" it is a "flange for a 108mm CV with coarse splines".

You do have to watch out for the 108mm early flange (these are off of 1969 and earlier) and are for the weak diff with the tit bolts. They seem to bolt up but are dimensionality incorrect.
