my pan has a lot of surface rust
what should i do
any paint suggestions?

get a wirebrush bit that fits your electric drill or angled grinder
that should take care of surface rust
next, prep the clean metal. Some use ospho, others use "metalprep" from POR15
check out www.por15.com for other rust prevention
