First up I had some extra console gauges laying around so I thought what would they look like with chrome trim rings instead of the black ones. Here is a picture of how they turned out. I just polished the paint off the outer edge.

Second project was to make a lighted temp gauge for the combo gauge. This was a simple process. I removed the back plate off a dead fuel gauge and swapped the plates. See pictures.

Third project was a little more difficult but not too bad. I wanted a lighted fuel gauge. As you know there is already on light hole for the low fuel light, so it was just a matter of doing a little measuring and drilling a second hole. I robbed the bulb holder from another gauge by GENTLY bending the edges and inserting it in the new hole. Then I flattened out the back side and installed the rubber ring holder piece to strengthen up things.
