Made it ~190 miles yesterday without probs. I get home to the speed bumps in the parking lot of my g/f's apartment complex and it was enough force to cause the battery tray to collapes AGAIN. Mine's rusted through in multiple places. Looks like the Bungee Cord method will have to make due until I get my aluminum tray riveted in place... haha...

Bondo, You could mount a smaller battery some where else in the car like this picture.

I am going to move it back into the engine compartment after I take out the stock box rust. Just an Idea. It comes it alum too. Thanks Mark
