So car is finally on the ground and rolling.
Yesterday....guy at the local shop said he "couldn't" do it?
So need some advice on a good shop. Lowered the car some in the front some and all new rear suspension. I wouldn't think it is a big deal but I want to make sure the it is done right after taking most of the suspension off.
I searched the site and could only find a recommendation out by Ron's in Riverside. Would prefer somewhere a little closer in SG Valley or North OC.
Suggestions?
Thanks folks.

In the past,I used Johnson's in Torrance- but I think they are over the top on pricing. If I'm going to do it again, I would inquire at Glenn Yee Racing in San Dimas. Smaller shop that will give you attention. He used to run a race team so he will know what to do. Sorry as you will have to look up his #

When Ron (Slits) returns from RRC ask him where Manny is working. He is the "914 alignment" guru in our area. I've used him on 2 different 914's w/ great results.

+1 on hergesheimer, but now you'd be headed towards south county, where there are some good race shops that will string the car and set it up right.
The race shops are going to want set up for an aggressive driving style, what are you looking for?

Hey thanks everyone.
Think I will try to get a hold of the guy in San Dimas and then Lake Forest first.
The tire place I went near me looked liked he had the optical equipment but when he told me that he didn't know that minutes were divisions of degrees.....I asked for the keys and said "That's okay......see ya".
My driving is for spirited street use and I have 205's for tires. As far as I know...the stock specs should be okay for me....but I want a good baseline and know how it is set up......
Thanks for the suggestions guys.

might want to give jackstands, two poles, and fishing wire.. I havent paid for an alignment..ever.. they're not all that difficult to do if you're willing to learn how to go about it.

Ok...thanks Ethan....Eric Shea said the same thing....
Is there a method described on the World site here? I do know what minutes and radians are...and I can do trig...lol.
Thanks in advance.....

I seem to vaguely remember a how to here on the world..
All you need is a basic knowledge of geo/trig. I may have to do a write up on it.. But until then, google "string alignment". That might get you enough information to get yourself in trouble

Darren at west end alignment in Gardena. He was the former tech that worked at Johnson's alignment on Hawthorne for more than a decade.
That's where I went. He is booked weeks in advance.

If you got to HRG ask for Evan or Eric. Both are friends and are "one of us".
