I want to buy a couple of affordable non vacuum holding dead MPS cores.

I bought the CFR kit and want to rebuild one
so a blown diaphram is fine with me, just need the housing and electric guts

I actually would like to get 2 of them if they are cheap enough
I trashed the adjustment screw on mine trying to get it opened up
so ones with a good, unmolested adjustment screw but no vacuum are my preference.

thanks guys

Brant, I've got a leaking one (I'll have to check to see what part # it is) confused24.gif

You can have it. PM me your address again and I ship it to you.

Thanks Mark, PM sent

I'd still like one more if anybody has a dead one?

I have to run over to the shop to locate a few other parts some time this week, so I'll dig out the MPS and get it shipped out.

No need to pay me, but thanks for the offer. It's just one more thing my wife won't have to deal with when I croak laugh.gif

Does it matter what engine it is from? I might have one in a box of parts I acquired, but don't know what it came out of.

as long as its a 914 part and has an adjusment screw the same diaphram type construction it should be fine.

I must be losing it! I swore I stumbled upon one a couple days ago, but I just went through everything and can't find one. Sorry I can't help!

Bump for one more?

Hi Brant,
I just got one from ebay looking for a type 4 unit without the diaphragm. It has the numbers 0 280 100 007. It is for a type 4, and from what I have seen may have been installed on some 914s. Can't see any difference, and yes the epoxy is intact but the diaphragm is cracked.

I've never used one but it sounds good. What price do you need?

In case you still need more...I'm not sure if this one is in the price range (they are asking $40), but I saw it and thought I would forward the information:
