Radical SR8 LM at 6,48 seconds on 19 August 2009. According to Wikipedia. The 918 is the second fastest car.

That IS pretty bad-ass though.
The drivers consisted of: Herr
Walter Röhrl, Timo Kluck, and Marc Lieb. All three drivers were under 7 minutes lap time.
Marc turned in the 6.57, average lap speed was 179.5 km/h.
The Nordschleife lap is 20.6 km . The 2 spyders are the Weissach edition.
The teamwork in nailing down this awesomeness...the guys around the two cars are probably just a few!

Is it just me, or did the driver actually "let up" before the last turn?
I think I would rather buy a Radical and have 750,000$ left over.
