My race tires are wide and are mounted on rims with the wrong backspace.

First I put a baseball bat handle between the fender and the tire and rolled the car. The bat gently pushes fender away from the tire. This was enough to get me across town as this is easier with a McHelper. wink.gif

We used a 3/4" galvenized pipe first. then followed up with a 1 and 1/2" pipe. The BIG pipe was only used to slightly stretch the fender to the point where the first pipe stopped. the full pass of the BIG pipe would of been a little much.

The whole process took about five minutes.
I think we spent more time searching around the yard for the pipe. smile.gif

It will need some paint touch up on inside edge.
The whole car needs paint anyway, so no biggie.

*Not recommended for cars with really good finishes.

That how my 225/50-16's fit on back of mine on 16x7's . Rolled fenders all the way.
I rolled the front fenders on my 911 to stop the rubing with a bat also. Mark
