I am getting ready to put my 914 in winter storage & pulled #1 Spark Plug to check for replacement. How would you experts read the color??? My 914-4 is a 2.0 liter D-Jet F.I. with Raby heads using NGK DP8EA Plugs.
Lean?
Normal?
Replace?
I was looking at a color chart & thinking it might be too lean or maybe normal?? What do you think?? headbang.gif

Looks like your oil has plenty of zinc content and your fuel is heavily enriched with ethanol..

Jake,
Brad Penn 10W-30W oil & always use Shell 93 octane fuel. Having said this, how do the plugs look??

Plugs are about (3) years old, but only with about 1,000 miles. (garage queen).
