I've got stock rear springs right now; would like something a little bit more supportive.

How much spring rating would be good for a V6?

What are the current sources?

I've got Koni yellow's back there and was also contemplating the setup that is height adjustable.

I used 10" 200lbs 2.5" spring on Koni adjustable perch shocks for my 3.8L V6

try Paragon for the ones w/adj coil overs. speak with jason (iirc) with the details. i'm sure he can recommend a spring rating to suit your needs.

you may want to consider buying the threaded perch at this point and moving into the 2.5 inch diameter springs.

These types of springs are much more readily available, and thus much cheaper, and with loads more spring rates.

Check this site...

So,
you get the threaded sleeve for your shock.
You get the small adjuster nut, same section of the site.

Get the top nut also...all of this is for the smaller spring diameter.

Then you go to the spring section and get the springs you want.

ah, thank you, Rich!
Time to break out the calipers and see if that will fit my yellow koni sports. :-D

That's perfect, if it fits!

look harder...they have them for Koni also.

Jim,

I'll sell you my progressive springs from my V8 conversion. They look like a 180lb spring. Since they are progressive rate, they are good on the street. They were not quite stiff enough for my aggressive driving style so I switched to 225lb.

Should work fine for your V6. $100 shipped to your door.
