While performing hell hole repairs, I stuck my arm up into the long toward the back of the car and felt inside the housing that suspension bolts to (two quater size holes), and there is a bunch of fine dirt in there (no rust as far as I can tell). Dirt probably dating back to the 70s. Is there a way to clean this out without drilling holes? Will unbolting the suspension give me access? I'd like to clean this out to see if there is any rust, and then deal with it accordingly.

Any ideas would be great!

hi,
there is no other access then the two holes. The console is completely welded to the long. Look at the pic.

Try to vacuum it wink.gif
