Does anyone have a trick for pulling a cylinder head stud? Need to swap a top (shorter) one over to a new block, and so far heat, double nutting and powerblaster are not working. Any tricks appreciated.

Heat. And a real stud puller.

Lots of heat

get it pre-double nutted.
have it soaked in good penetrating oil.
heat the fuck out of it.
put a damp cloth around the stud for a second.
turn it out.
