Full Version: Seat Hinge Broken

So the driver side seat hinge near the tunnel is broken off.

It looks like the pivot pin can come out (with force), but I'm not having much luck. I heated the thing and banged the snot out of it, but it isn't moving an inch.

I don't want to cause any more damage, so I'm afraid to bang on it any harder than I have already.

Is there some trick to get the thing out?

And are the hinge parts available, or do I need to find one somewhere?

I doubt they were ever intended to be disassembled Len since they are responsible for holding you into the car.

And I have the welder, if it comes to that. I'm already scheduled to do some welding for T.C., so I could swing by and weld that up as well.
