I was wondering if there is a good use for old stock camshafts? confused24.gif

Scrap metal or make something cool out of them. Another option is to have them reground, u can have them cut whatever grind u want.

I tried them as a paper towel holder, with the gear still attached. The lobes made for a tight fit on the towel tube, so they did not pull off nicely. So it was back to a piece of not nearly as cool 3/4" pipe.

I ended up scrapping mine. Though I do have a used jug that I keep pencils in on my desk.

Used jugs a very good cup holder when placed on the floor upside down.

I hung a couple in my laundry room to hang clothes on from the dryer. I have one in my shop bathroom for the extra toilet paper rolls. Angela said no in the house bathroom. Go figure?
