I adjusted my shifter today, it's nice and smooth. Shift all gears.
When shifting to first and second, I feel the pressure of the spring. Is that normal or should I readjust?

you'll feel the spring action when in the 1st or reverse plane.

while leaving 1st, heading towards 2nd, you will feel it at the beginning of the shift.
