....I wish I knew what would be the performance difference between the 039.905.205A (offered here) and the dizzy suggested for my '73 2.0L 039.905.205?

None that I know of. This is the 74 dizzy. Seems like the 75-76 was 205B.

I am interested but not sure if it is 100% compatible with the 75- according to pbanders at some point in 75 or 76 they went to a 205B, i need to look at what i have now in the car. i know the points plate is the same for 74-76 , no variation, and i dont know what the difference is otherwise from 74-76 . can you give me 24 hours and"hold" it? until i verify this?
