GT Purely Porsche, in their October 2004 issue on page 44, states that in 1989 the 930 received 5th gear.
Does anyone know what box it was? It might make for a great V8 box.

It's a G50 box... I think it's specifically called a G50/50, but I'm not sure...

Ruf had a 5th gear conversion for the 4 speed box. I personally have never seen a factory 5 speed based on the 4speed box. I'm betting it became the G50 box in late 89.
