Eric_Shea
Hi Gang,

I have some interest in some more of the 914 5-lug rotor conversions. Similar to this one:

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...tor++group++buy

We could use another 1/2 dozen units to make the CNC worth while.

Weigh in.
Garland
I am interested.

MrHyde
Sorry to hijack, but I could use some rears in 5-bolt this winter if that comes up as well.. :-)
bulitt
You offer rear drilled rotors now? correct ? Thanks.
Eric_Shea
Could be part of this yes, if we get enough.
napasteve
I'm in for a late 914 package (I have a '73 2.0). McMark will be doing the conversion.

Im in Eric, late 73.

Eric, just a thought for you....why don't you have the shop precision build you a drill fixture so they don't have to be done via CNC each time? You could do them at home at will with a fixture.

If you do it REALLY nice you can use hardened inserts in the fixture so it doesn't wear. Typical old machine shop methods before CNC
bulitt
I need a set of drilled rear rotors.
billh1963
I need a set of early front rotors.

I bought two complete late model conversion sets in the last GB but now only have one late car and one early car. I can trade one late model set with someone who bought an early model set or need a pair of converted early rotors, please.

We need help here.

Eric needs a few more commitments on a group buy to make this work. Anyone planning a 5 lug conversion. this is the way to go.

Eric does the hard work, and makes it affordable.

We need more holiday gifts to ourselves! santa_smiley.gif santa_smiley.gif

Lets get this going!

I could go for the drilled rear rotors if we get enough people

Currently counting 5-6 packages and some rear rotor add ons. Si?

Adding Gene's request would make it 7-8
McMark stated 2-3?? making it 9-10

Everyone here solid? Need to know. I know John "might" be wanting a set-up... biggrin.gif

MrHyde
Yup.. I still need a pair of rear rotors drilled for 5-lug. Going to get a couple other things from you too Eric, just gotta get through Christmas before I can wire the $
Eric_Shea
So far I have...

Contact - Front Rotors - Rear Rotors - Hubs
Garland - 2 - 2 - 2
MrHyde - 0 - 2 - 2
Bullit - 0 - 2 - 0
napasteve - 2 - 2 - 2
Type 47 - 2 - 2 - 2
Evil914 - 2 - 0 - 0 (year?)
wndsnd - 2 - 2 - 2
billh1963 - 2 (early)
no1uno - 0 - 2 - 0
old dog - 0 - 2 - 2

Yay?
AndyB
If cost is within reason I need a 5 lug front and rear set.
Eric_Shea
Just to avoid confusion...

The 2-2-2 people will get the "Full Kit" as per earlier in the year (see the link in the first post). That includes rotors, bearings, studs and seals.

The ala carte people are just down for what they specified. If you require bearings, seals and studs let me know.

Here's a preliminary rundown (those asking for hubs will get studs with that price):

Garland $617.92
MrHyde $280.00
Bullit $164.00
napasteve $617.92
Type 47 $617.92
Evil914 $196.00 (I'm guessing at late model)
wndsnd $617.92
billh1963 $164.00
no1uno $164.00
old dog $280.00

MrHyde
Eric... I only need rear rotors. Not hubs. :-)
billh1963
For those who are undecided, this is the most cost effective way to upgrade your car to 5-lugs with high quality components. The workmanship is excellent, name brand components are provided, and there are threads available detailing the conversion process.

From what I can see Eric's business is growing beyond 914's and Porsches....he's getting a lot of a Ferrari and other exotic business as well. We should take advantage of these group buys while he has the time to put them together!

Eric,

I am in for a pair of rear hubs and rotors.

Or if going to 5-lug drilled rear hubs should one simply use 914-6 five lug rear rotors?

Thank you for this offer.

If you're using 914 hubs it's beneficial to use machined 914 rotors. You will retain the mounting screw locations. 914-6 rear rotors have the 911 mounting screw pattern.
Eric_Shea
OK... This is going now!

I need to get rotors to the MS this week! LOL The machines are open.

I'll need shipping, billing and contact info today if possible. PM me your name, address, phone, e-mail, etc.

Thanks!

Eric,

PM sent with the following:

I have the rear hubs cleaned up, packed and ready to ship. All I need is your shipping address.

Also, how would you like to arrange payments?

Thank you.
Eric_Shea
2mAn, I'd say you're in.

Do you want the exact bits he had requested?
billh1963
Eric... can I use the new bearings from the late model rotors (which I have from the first buy) on the early rotors or do I need a different set of bearings? If I need different bearings please add those to my total.

It looks like it was just the late front setup. What bits did he request? Do these include the studs or no?
