Full Version: Straight line throttle cable ...

I was at Fordahls in Bellevue and noticed the throttle cable on the 914/6 AutoX car. It did NOT go through the tunnel. It was attached to the side of the throttle pedal and was exposed straight back through the interior and then through the firewall. I saw this same setup on a 914 sold on ebay ... about $30k the second time.

Does anyone have any pics, information, sources? I'm tired of the stiff throttle on my 914/6 with a 914/4 cable without bellcrank.

Since the car is mostly a track car I don't mind having the cable exposed through the interior.

Thanks

Maybe its one of the hi end push pull cables. The chassisshop.com has all that hardware. Been thinking about fabbing some brackets to use it.
