I don't need to recover the whole driver seat, the cushions and back of the seat are fine. I have small rips and the side corner bend of the seat. I know you can get recovers for certain parts of the seat and just need that instead of recover for the whole seat. I'd like to get something is close to the original material as possible. Anybody done this and know where to get good quality vinyl?

I had great service and fit from the Auto's international kit. I imagine that they may sell you just the seat frame covering, but I think you'll be happier redoing the entire seat when you're done.

I've used these without a problem. They have early and late style vinyl. Installing these is not as easy as you may think. Getting them tight without wrinkles can be tuff. I've had a lot of experience at this and it was still a PITA. Ray

Thanks guys! I will check these out. The rest of the seat is in great shape. It just the sides that have a couple small rips. The removable seat cushion and back cushion are great. yeah I've seen some other threads are people really struggle to do these well. But its gonna have to be done.

The corners are the hardest to stretch and get tight. When you first lay them out they don't look like they'll ever fit right. Ray

Yeah, that's the vinyl I need. Mine are only ripped a few inches above the corner, right adjacent to where your upper arm would be sitting in the chair. I really want to make sure it's OEM or exceptionally identical because it's for my LE and I want to keep everything stock OG on it. I will definitely be reading up on some of these threads when I can find some replacement vinyl. A lot of you guys do amazing work. 914World is the best online 914 class there is!
