Last night ABC aired the movie in HD, man what a beautiful place. Is it like that in real life?

You know it was 40 years ago when they filmed it. Lots of time has past. Of course Europe doesnt progress quite as fast as it does here. I dont think there are many places here that looked the same some 30 years ago.

It's absolutely gorgeous there!
Went there 10 times a winter as a kid in the '80s to ski in nearby Berchtesgaden. Went a number of times in the summer. Its my most favorite place in the whole world. Sigh. I love that dang movie just for the open credits.
