Replacing the oil presser sender unit, that's just over the oil cooler. A few questions:

1. Is there a gasket that goes between the sender and the engine?
2. Do you put any kind of sealant on the threads?
3. How tight do you screw it in?

Thanks to all for your help!

1. No
2. No, the threads need to act as a ground
3. not too tight, you could strip the Al threads ... (Cap'n?)

You are absolutely right. The threads are NPT, and are self sealing. Get it snug.
