Turning my Chalon into a track/race car and don't have an immediate need for cabin heat. My exchangers are cracked and separating along the seams, so they're no good anyway. My question is whether or not I can take a cutting wheel to them and just cut the exchanger portion off, leaving only the exhaust pipes. Kind of like poor man's headers. Any comments?

Just be careful not to cut or otherwise damage the pipes!

Of course you can. It's just metal, not rocket science. beerchug.gif
