Pretty cool car. Had trouble talking myself out of it but the non matching numbers may be an issue, my bet is, this sells .

I feel the market is improving and we need to get that out there...still too many naysayers...

Porsche 914/6, 1970 #9140430106. Vintage set up with all the best performance track/street upgrades that were used 35-40 years ago. A first generation "bad boy" real 914/6 that could be used as a fun and competitive track or autocross car. The 1967 911 engine uses an aluminum crankcase, which is the strongest, most trouble free crankcase Porsche made until many years later. The sound of this high revving K&N filtered engine is a treat to hear. This car has had limited use for several years and would benefit with a "freshening up" but still runs and drives good. Bilstein shocks, Turbo tie rods, headers with sport muffler, front sway bar, flairs, Roll bar with a bolt on reinforced top. 10,000 tach, oil pressure gauge, racing seat, front mounted oil cooler. Simmons 9" and 10" 3 piece race wheels, vented front and rear rotors. Porsche chassis reinforcement panels installed. Steel flairs are included but not installed. If your goal is a completely stock, original 914/6, this is probably not the best car to start with. This is real 914/6 that will increase in value and will still be a blast to drive. Many more photos and accurate information available The owner said ti drop the price! $26,500

The current owner has no information on the engine build. The car came out of a Chicago estate. "Bernat" was the previous owner and apparently had several collectable Porsche's. Brad Mayeur
