I have a 1974 2.0. It was used as a track car and the hand brake and cables were removed. The car was junked and I am trying to re-register the car. Is there a junkyard out there that can provide all of the parts? Does someone have one for sale? The major sites I tried have selected parts, but not everything to make a functional hand brake. Thank you.

The classifieds section here should be able to set you up. I hear that member bdstone here has just about everything you would want to bolt to a Porsche.

There are junkyards with a goodly amount of 914 stuff. In my area, EASY (www.easypor.com) and PartsHeaven (www.partsheaven.com) have a reasonable selection. But Rich Bontempi at High Performance House (www.highperformancehouse.com) has at least ten of everything. In every possible color and version...
