Im still relatively new to 914s but is this anything special?

First thing, you'll need to look at the hell hole, the longs and suspension points.

Next, the floor pans, firewall and trunks

Take some detailed pix, or better yet, see if someone from here can go with you next time

All that add on stuff is just aftermarket bling.

As euro said.....rust is the most important factor.

Yes, someone made their own "Special Edition" there didn't they? But if it's been sitting 20 years rotting it's most likely a parts car. Looks like it has chrome bumpers...might have some good parts on it. NOT $2500 if you can't drive it out of there on its own power.
