Very clean rust-free 1972 Porsche 914 1.7 liter chassis, will save the buyer thousands of dollars in rust repair costs alone (considering the condition of most 914 rollers we’ve seen). The black 914-6 that is referred to in this posting cost @$140000. Professional metal work, complete drivetrain rebuild.
Just starting out you are saving thousands of dollars, this is an extremely good starting point.

Hi Craig, I think so too. I know what I personally had to spend in my own car to handle the issues that most refer to as "no rust". I dropped a lot of money prepping my 914 chassis (the hidden costs).

The following photo shows a 911 2.2 liter motor installed (not included) which means a 914-6 after-market type chassis motor-mount is in the car...

What is that worth in terms of dollars, months of restoration time and the unknown? A 914 chassis with NO rust.

Yup, I can tell you what that's worth, probably the asking price of the car if not more in a lot of cases!

I know your not parting out. But who ever buys this chassis / Project. I am interested in the Centerlines. Please keep me in mind if your selling them.

I would love to buy the car as the black one is my desktop background, love that car so many subtle design changes, just keeps yours eyes looking for all the subtle details.

I could sell the Centerline wheels, the 911 suspension components and off the rest at a lower price, but that becomes more of a time consuming hassle.

This project appears to be headed for eBay very soon. I need the space...
