I finally decided to go up and look at the 914 that's been on Craigslist for about a month.

1. Came from California 20 years years ago.
2. Has been stored inside all 20 years.
3. Drive train went into a sand rail.

So far the tub looks like a new car compared to the one I'm restoring now. LOL.

I told him I'd ponder it.
It really is a nice tub.

I told him after I sleep on it. I might come back with a drill and more light and remove the rocker panels a make a deeper inspection.
Looks like they've never been removed.

I need another car like a need a hole in my head ...............
Then I tell myself, they aren't making them any more.

I'd just hate to see it kicked outside in the rain.
As long as my current project is taking me. I'll be dead before I finish them all.

Here's the contact info.

Guy's name is Miguel.
Save me from buying it ...............
Its a little shop in Battleground. Looks like he flips MB diesels.
Phones only good from 8-5 Mon-Fri.

Time to scrap your resto that needs all the metal work. Just cut off the good panels & save them. Go with the solid roller everytime

PNW has the 12 914 step program.
Each member from the PNW must buy, flip restore or own at least 12 porsche 914's

I have 3 other good tubs ....................... LOL

I'm having too much fun ..............
It's a sentimental thing. Twelve years ago my 14 year son closed the deal on an Ebay purchase. He called from Cle Elum Wa. Dad they lied.
It has rust .................... Closed at $1600, in the end he paid $1100.

Plus I want to drive this car every day. Rain, Sleet or Snow and not feel bad. So to me its better to start with a POS. LOL.

Craig,I thought you are Jamie and would have already scarfed it up.

One tubs for a race car.
Two others are for the boys. They dream of building M471 914-6s.
So I need two more for the wife and daughter.

Not quite 12, but getting close.
cary
No longer on Craigslist.

I'm saved .............
One of you other sick individuals must have bought it.
