My son and I need to make a color choice for a flared car that is at The Metal Surgeon in Denver Colorado. I would like to see cars that color to make a choice. Can I look at someone's cars here in Denver?

I only have an opinion to give. Tangerine on a flared car is amazing. It looks like candy.

There's a tangerine car there. Check with "Gint" here.

I'm a big fan of Tangerine!

I'm local too... but my car isn't here for viewing at the moment

My very first 914, a 1970 was that Color L-21E Tangerine I loved it so much I had my 1975 painted that color.......... I know ! I know ! wrong color for a 75 but I like it.

Signal is muted and understated......compared to TANGERINE!

If you really want to get noticed go with Signal Yellow....

My cars Signal Orange my car before that was Phoenix Red sort of like Tangerine. I like Signal better but both are very nice.

Have you considered Nepal Orange? My favorite out of the orange group. Then Signal would be my second choice. Can't go wrong with any of them.

If you want to see Tangerine my garage has it. And Zambezi. And Peru Red. And Nagaro Blue, some kind of silver and I dunno what that pearl white color is called.

The COA for my 1970 914-6 (1937) says" Tangerine (Blood Orange)/ 23" The origional color is more red than the #23 shown here. Any Thoughts? Al

I am pretty sure you have already seen it. It is the only 914 in his shop.

Nepal orange is my favorite of the oranges.

Glad you made a choice and all the oranges are worth having as they make the car go faster, look FANTASTIC with the black accents and there are just too few orange cars on the road.

Signal is my favorite.
Nepal next.
Then Tangerine.

That is a beautiful ride.

I had been thinking of painting my car signal orange, but have my bike and my car the same color would be kind of gay. Still need to wet sand and reassemble, but summer is a ways off. Click to view attachment
