I saw this video on youtube and am perpexled on how this guy actually set all this up?

http://www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=YzGrfXJJU5o

in the comments, he says he uses a shortened powerglide trans, home made transfer case? to get the power down through a 9" ford diff rear?

anyone have a thought on how this was done?
Mike Bellis
He runs 2, Ford 9" pumpkins with a chain drive transfer case. Lots of weight over the rear wheels.

Pardon my ignorance, I'm having a hard time visualizing how he would have the room to support all that in the back and keep the axles where they are.

I've seen this before, but this puts the axles much further back which wouldn't fit the 914 wheelbase.

initially he had one pumpkin and then went to 2 pumkins.

there are some talented - out of the box thinking - hard working - mother fuckers in the car culture and he is one for certain : ) and an overall great guy.

that said I love how mcmark has repurposed/turboed the lowly 1.7L : ) bravo!

WOW. I'm speechless, that is some incredible ingenuity to get things to fit!

looks like he has ZERO suspension in the rear....

Must be tough to tune that to hook up with no give....

Still must be a cool guy to talk with...that is a neat setup.
