1972 914 2.0
Hello 914World,

Well, it's time to address the rear suspension on my 1972 914. The previous owner screwy.gif installed who-knows-what-kind-of rear springs on the car. As a result: the top of the wheel arch is 1-2 inches above the top of the tire (which is ludicrously high!!!). I desire my suspension to be lower, not hugely, but enough that it doesn't look odd (like it does now). I've done some reading and asked around but still don't have a straight answer on what type/weight springs would give me the best ride height and handling. confused24.gif

Any input and advice is much appreciated.

Thanks very much! bye1.gif
Cheers beerchug.gif

1.) What kind of shocks are installed on the rear? Do they have adjustable spring perches?

2.) Do you see any paint stripes on the springs?

3.) Pictures?

1) the shocks are KYB Gas-A-Just, not sure about the spring perches.

2) Haven't seen any paint stripes, but I haven't looked that close.

3) I'll have some pictures this weekend
