Borderline
That's about the hottest T4 around built with no expense spared! Someone is going to get a great deal here.

Interested in the headers. Are they the street or race version? What size pipes? Stubs included?

PS.that engine looks insane

It's a great motor. Got in front of two crazy fast Z06's at Cascade Lakes this year, both driven by excellent drivers, so not bad for a 4 cylinder.

They are the race version, 1 5/8 inch and the stubs will be included.

Buyers of the entire engine or transmission will have first call on the options.

Randal, While Im not in for the Type-IV it is a smoking deal. If the buyer does not want these three Items I am interested in picking them up.

1. The Spare Link ECU with back up programming- $700 Please if you don't mind letting me know the model number. I need to do a little research to make sure it fits my application.

2. The Large Accusump with automatic valving system - $250

3. Aluminum Oil over flow Tank - $150 Need to see a picture again to see if it fits with my application.

And I guess I have missed your post what are you doing now for propulsion motivation in this 914?

Just curious Randal, what compression ratio is this engine?

I will take the transmission with all of the options. Can you strap it on a pallet for shipping?

Sure.

Maybe one of the members on this board can say how best to ship a transmission.
McMark
I ship pallets using FreightQuote.com. Engines I build a crate around with 2x4 and plywood.

I am not familiar with Los Altos. How far away is it from Santa Rosa? Maybe I can get my brother in law to pick it up.

Los Altos is next to Palo Alto on the Peninsula.

I go up to Napa all the time, so could meet your brother in Novato which is about 25 minutes south (for him) on Hy 101.

Transmission can be sent via UPS, thigh they are oversized. I did like McMark and built small wooden crates to ship in. The Junk yard guys strap them down with old seatbelt webbing. They have an unlimited supply of the stuff.

I just bolt them down with metal strap and a few bolts done. Last Pallet I did was a load of stuff. Had to build the crate in the back of the truck. But it was sturdy and made it there with out issue.

So my parts request?

Woodster,
This is the fastest Porsche powered four cylinder on this side of the country. With the right pilot, this is a no doubt TTOD finisher.

Someone asked me today whether the engine was coming as a complete package and the answer is yes. The only thing I've listed separate is the Accusump, headers and front mounted oil cooler.
