Do all clutch cables have a sleeve over the part that goes thru the tunnel?
toolguy
The clutch cable runs inside the Bosen tube, which goes from the firewall and over to just in front of the shifter. It runs along the inside of the drivers side of the tunnel and is brazed in 3 places. . common problem is for the brazes to crack, allowing the tube to flex and ultimately causes the firewall to crack. The cable sheath ends at the firewall and has no sheath where it's inside the tube, just the plastic cable cover
Do a search. Many pictures on how to fix

I'm talking about the cable itself. My clutch cable has a plastic sleeve that extends from the end that attaches to the tube for a few feet inside the fixed tub in the tunnel. The cable slides thru the plastic tube inside the metal tube.
