Why guess? I'm sure Bruce Stone will have some plated and looking pretty. Give him a call...just a suggestion as he's local and good to deal with.

Good idea, thanks for the tip
For some reason, I thought caliper bolts were not reusable ??

Why? They're not torque to yield bolts, which were probably not even commonly available when these cars were built. If the manual doesn't say "REPLACE", don't.

They are grade 10.9. Do you need 4 or 8?
Also please don't electroplate 10.9 bolts due to the risk of hydrogen embrittlement.

For some reason the Bird includes new bolts in front caliper rebuild kits.
My old ones were perfectly good yet, so have some more stuff in my metric bolt junk jar

Eric, what is the correct length. Instead of that crap from Taiwan would you be interested in a Kamax bolt grade 10.9 and a better finish?

I've never even THOUGHT about replacing caliper bolts. I wonder if I should have. Hmmm....
Great info though. Thanks!

Clarification: The rear calipers had spacers added to accomodate vented rotors

Those are McMaster replacements in the 35mm size. He has to space his calipers 4.5-5mm off the mounting ears.
