List of cars:
1993 ZR-1 Spyder on loan from General Motors4
2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil" on loan from General Motors
1962 Black Corvette
1984 PPG Pace Car
1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette
1993 Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvette
2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette
2009 White 1.5 Millionth Corvette
The cars on loan from GM were a big deal, the 62' also. the 84' pace car..oh well, the 1 and 1.5 millionth Vette not that big o deal...the museum will keep them as...museum pieces with a little more history, the 93' and the Hammer not so much, oh well.

Although, the cars that were swallowed up are from the (arguably) darkest days of the Corvette. So maybe that's saying something...
The dark days of the Vetter were from 74' - 82' None of these were in that group...of course very few car from that era are worthy of being in the museum

I read where 2015 model is supposed to be the last. They will build that model until @ 2020. Low margins.
No that was the 54' that was supposed to be the last year for the Vette

Mid 70's to late 80's were (arguably) darkest days of the Corvette. A 1993 ZR!
is a lot of bang for the buck today. 4 cam aluminum engine designed by Lotus with
a ZF 6speed. 180 mph out the door..
The 93' ZR1 was the car that broke open the HP wars.

So in the photo??? why the hell wouldnt you get the rest of them OUT OF THE BUILDING?
But that sucks. What are the odds ?
Let's see a sink hole just swallowed up the middle of the floor and 8 cars?
This area of the museum is the area that is the big dome. it's round and a lot of the cars are in the circle around the perimeter of the wall, the cars that fell are in the middle on the floor that is lower that those in the picture. They are probably fairly secure until the area can be stabilized.
